Runners Clinic

Runner’s Clinic

At the runner’s clinic, a thorough evaluation is done to determine the extent of injuries.  Evaluation of not only the area involved, but the kinetic chain of muscles and joints is performed.  X-rays may be done to evaluate bone integrity.  Diagnostic ultrasound can be utilized in the clinic to evaluate tendons, muscle and soft tissue. Dr. Vidlock is one of only a few physicians in Colorado certified by the ARDMS to correctly diagnose injuries by ultrasound.

Treatment plans are individualized for every runner and may include:

  • Comprehensive rehabilitation program including gait analysis

  • Advice on modifying running if necessary and using cross training

  • Injections or ultrasound guided procedures on tendons, or joints

  • Recommendations to maintain bone and muscle health and avoid fatigue

  • Return to running program recommendations
